Hey, handsome man…

Hoping you’ve had a nice day and set your clock FORWARD! Puppy, are you getting ready to leap forward?! I surely hope so. This morning I awakened (as I’ve shared with you before) and was so “hungry” for you. It’s true. I was in twilight again and totally immersed in you – your warmth, your smell, your taste – until there was a wonderful little explosion. After, we just held each other and experienced that moment.

The short video clips are of a sweet little boy named Sam. They always start their videos with – “do you know what makes me happy, daddy?” His adoring dad replies, “what makes you happy, Sam?” Precious!! Truly, this child and his unique relationship with his daddy…that’s what it’s all about.

I’ve worked around here some today and also rested a bit and it’s been wonderful. Seems things have been non-stop for so long now. I really can’t imagine what a vacation would be like? Just a day to be worry and carefree! Maybe someday.

Get some good rest and keep me close…you know where I live – always. I love you SO much!! xo

Blackberry Crumble!!

Carter, I KNOW who loves blackberry crumble (fancy for cobbler) WITH ice cream! Puppy (ie: Daddy) does!

How precious is this little boy? All I see is YOU in his sweet face. His (and possibly Jeffrey’s) joy is why we’ll live. It’s how we’ll walk into the sunset. Remember all the ‘firsts’? Oh, the places we can take them and things we can show/teach them.

They continue to install drywall here today…hoping the’ll move on to moldings next week. Also, the tile installer begins Monday! Onward…

I hope you enjoy this day – it’s precious as everyday is special when we’re in the last third of life (at best). I try to find joy (and new experiences) in each and every day. The only thing that could make my life better is waking beside you. I love you! xo
