Hey, Puppy…
Hope you’re having a nice day? Tummy full? Healthy lunch? I hope so! Puppy, do you miss my very intuitive sandwich making skills? Has anyone peeled you a pear since I left? Seriously, in 11 years, has anyone peeled and presented you with a yummy pear? Somehow I doubt it. These are things I need to know because I worry about my sweet puppy dog!!
Things here are the same….working while KNOWING I’m always one day closer to you. I miss you so much. The pup is doing okay?!!! I groomed him yesterday and he tolerated it fairly well. I groomed off everything so now he looks like a different dog. haha. I had to. In his weakened state, his beard hair got matted and he’s not strong enough for me to get those untangled. It takes a lot of patience on both our parts and, this time, I decided to just give him and crew cut. Of course, like you, he’s cute as ever.
I’d better get back to it. Take good care and keep me close, okay? You know where I live. I love you! xo

Just look at you looking back! Puppy – you went the distance and are forever a champion. I’m so proud of you for your excellent skill and determination. Just know, this is not coming from a groupie (I still don’t know a thing about this game) but rather, someone that loves and respects you.
I hope you’re having a nice day and enjoy some good food! If we were together, I’d make whatever your heart longed for – gumbo, MeMaw’s creole, shrimp Diane or scampi, potato salad, green salad – maybe ALL of it? This is a very special day and you should be celebrated and (hopefully soon) this will become our tradition hence.
I’m thinking we have our very own SB to win…praying it happens and with very little drama. As you know, I worry about you in a multitude of ways but especially in this regard.
