“This time I’m gonna kiss him instead of just shaking hands…gonna tell him that I LOVE HIM.”

Hey, honey.

Hoping you’ve had a nice day? Eat some good, healthy food today? If I was there, we’d have some yummy grilled steaks and a huge salad with everything under the sun in them. A loaded baked potato, too. Why not, right? I make a wonderful marinade for steaks – turns out super yummy every time.

Peachtree Junk came this afternoon and I’ve been busy preparing for them. They took away lots of junk so that’s a relief. Less to pack and store.

This song by Kenny is so special. Of course, we’re going to work hard to be certain your mind, body and especially your memory stay strong…no matter, his song about Alzheimers is so touching. I shared this video with you (related to MY dad) years ago…long before you were diagnosed with PD. Most people dx with PD maintain their memory (or most of it) until death. That’s great news!

Anyway, this song has so many parallels for you and us. From driving a chevy to his love for baseball…to struggles with his memory. It’s especially touching featuring a son (that is gay) whom loves his dad so much. The scenes in this video also call out to me…reminding me of our future (if we’re so blessed) and the MANY things we hope to experience together. The ocean waves engaging the beach…the long drives along the backroads of our home state….sunsets. Still so much to experience with one another.

I’m about to continue my work packing…I can’t imagine a day off? I can’t imagine a relaxing Friday night with my puppy? Hopefully someday. Get some good rest tonight and keep me close. You KNOW where I am…that’s were I live. I love you, Baby. xo
