Hey honey…first and most important – thank you. I love and appreciate you so much. It’s late here so will keep this short. It’s been a very busy working holiday weekend for me. I filmed (almost 6 minutes) what I’ve been working on (a long water swale / 120′ long) to direct water away from the lawn and down to the lower part of this lot – massive undertaking (my last outdoor project here). Anyway, this website has “limits” on time so wouldn’t allow me to upload it. I may post it on Noah and Jeffrey’s facebook page – I’ll let you know if I decide to do that. My yard guys had dug it out about 6 weeks ago but wasn’t quite deep enough so I did that followed by lining with landscape fabric (underlayment) then had to secure the outer edges with heavy stones. It flooded here about 3 hours ago (huge early evening rain shower) and I was able to see how successful it is. Hopefully I can figure out where to post the video so you can see – it works fantastic! Hundreds of gallons of water flow perfectly to the lower part of this property.
An update on Carson – I am thrilled to report that he is doing better. He’s eating his food and seems mostly back to himself? Of course, I take it one day (if not one hour) at the time…taking nothing for granted ever. As you know, y’all are BOTH my puppy dawgs and I love you both to the moon. I realize time is short but everyday is so special.
